BUSEN

I was almost 10 years old when my aunt one day rang our summerplace to tell me that she and my uncle had played in my room. Grown-up's playing in my room? Very mysterious... Of course, I wanted to go back home as soon as possible and when we came back I ran into my room just to see the most adorable little kitten laying on my carpet. May 25th 1985, I'll never forget that day. The day when I became a catowner!

October 4th 2000, almost sixteen years later, my sweetheart, Busen, was put to sleep. He suffered from severe kidney-injuries and at that age there wasn't much to do about it. He was the kindest and sweetest friend you possibly could imagine. We had many, many good times together and when his time had come to leave we took the veterinarian to our home so Busen could fall asleep in his own home, lying on my lap. I'll miss him always!
